It’s probably going to run into the same exact problem all other popular policies do: everyone’s for it until a Democrat suggests it, at which point it’s becomes the most Un-American mega-socialisms in the history of ever and has to be voted down for the good of the country and baby Jesus.

Same as it always seems to be, same as it has for decades when the NRA became akin to an untouchable god of all politics.

I really want things to hit a touchstone moment. I just am not holding my breath for it at this rate.

You know what’s different this term: The marches that haven’t ended, the fact that the young are involved, and the voter registration going on.
