Norway and Finland are ruled by democratically and legally elected governments. As is most of Europe and the USA.

The extent to which fringe elements are displeased with the people whom their fellow citizens have chosen to represent them is more a reflection on the character of the fringe elements and of the level of discourse in the blogoshpere and other channels of communication available to them than on what their governments are up to.
