Cumulus is likely pretty pissed off over the amount of advertising revenue they lost in the last contract iteration. The boycott campaigns has driven away advertisers in droves, especially from Limbaugh, who’s made some incredibly outrageous statements. Cumulus understandably want’s to claw back as much of that money as possible from Premier since they feel that they paid a high end dowry for a bride that deliberately shit the bed.
