Mom knew how to make a meatloaf with a real crispy crust. Loved taking the end slices and munching on that crust!

This is why my mom makes two loaves when she makes ham loaf at holidays. That way, there are four end pieces (sliced down the middle and horizontally), one for each member of the family.
