It still sucks that you are putting in your off time to save your job. Things are tough all over. A friend of mine was “made redundant” today, as the Brits would say, after ten years as the Web master at a Major Utility (not the City’s) here. It just sucks.

Better to work 42 hours and only get paid for 40, than not to be able to work at all. That’s the way my boss and I see it. I am hoping to be able to take a small number of vacation days this spring. The first one will be next month. I’m fighting to make sure I’m still in a position to enjoy. And I will be in that position!
