Batman, not so much. He reminds me of mythology.

In 1930s America, Batman was wish fulfillment. As was Superman, by the way. One of the creators of Superman had a father that was shot to death by a criminal so you can see why making a bullet proof Moses like hero was a kid’s wish fulfillment.
