We’re going to see cries for nullification if the court rules against them and more cries about “tyrants” in robes. Because you know it’s down right tyrannical to rule that someone has the same rights you do. Wingnuts don’t know jack shit about what tyranny is and when they do, they cheer it on.

I’ve seen some comments (mainly FB) from “a pox on both their houses” libertarians on how we need a dictatorship for a period of time in order to set up re-establishing non-corrupt democratic government.

I didn’t feel like getting into an argument with their pipe dream* since history is replete with example after example of “reformer” governments whose temporary seizure of power to form the republic or return rule to the people seems to never get to the stage where power is given up. (Rome, Russia, France, etc. - take your pick.)

Libertarian philosophy disregards human nature as much as communist and the other political philosophies - it does not apply to our species. And therefore it really is a pipe dream - you only get it when you’re smoking an opium pipe or some other wild substance.
