So, where does the GOP go from here? The tea party is dead, Mitt gets the nomination and will probably lose to Obama. All the traditional avenues of radicalization and moderation have been tried and failed. Do they just wait until the Dems to fuck up before regaining power? New strategy or the same old shit?

I don’t think the GOP is ready for a new strategy, yet. What I predicted 30 years ago with the rise of the Fundies is only now starting to fracture the party. The GOP has a strong propensity for denial.
