I will be watching it on the internet. Perfectly safe viewing and I do not have to worry about crowds, hotel rooms, nearest bathroom, or anything like that.

I’m one who hates crowds and the pain and suffering they impose but witnessing a total eclipse, especially if it is the first time, is, in my opinion, quite worth it. This was the situation 7 years ago in my chosen viewing spot in central Oregon. Not as bad as some but still quite busy and crowded. The eclipse the next morning was, quite frankly, one of the most ethereal and outright awesome events that I had ever experienced. If I wasn’t so busy snapping photos, it probably would have moved me to tears. If you do get a chance to see, take it. You won’t regret it.
