I should have explained myself better. Without their freaky obsession with sex and women’s lady bits there wouldn’t be the cuts to food stamps, the push to get rid of school lunch programs, the closing of women’s clinics all over the country, the idiotic Hyde Amendment, and on and on. They’re the ones that brought the sex and biology into their platforms and policy positions.

This. It’s about moralism and their discomfort with women’s sexuality.

Women shouldn’t have abortions because they should refrain from having sex. They shouldn’t need contraception because they should refrain from having sex. They shouldn’t have children out of wedlock because they should refrain from having sex. They shouldn’t need foodstamps to feed their children because they should refrain from having sex. They shouldn’t need childcare because they should refrain from having sex.

The other policy things, like favoring investors over workers is because they worship business owners and think any worker who doesn’t own a business is a lazy fuckoff who deserves whatever crumbs fall trickles down from the business owner’s table.
