honest questions, because I haven’t been following the spending stuff at anything closer than a 100,000 feet elevation… why are Democrats voting against it? I was (vaguely) under the impression that a lot of things had been negotiated between the House/Senate/Admin?

My assumption is that any “deal” with DC Republicans has a half-life measured in minutes, but perhaps someone has real info.
