Yeah see, I never understood the dudes into Kiss who hated disco.

Kind of like the stoners into metal who hated new wave/newro and whatnot.

I was like, dude, your people wear skintight bright colored spandex pants showing their stuff, extensions in their hair, and more makeup than I do. They’re more of a man because they use a guitar with a distortion box and Boy George’s band doesn’t? rotfl!

So many of those bands were such put-ons, but the kids fell for it. It was all contraband to me, so all of it was a big, ridiculous, wonderful showbiz spectacle.

costumes aside, you can’t fake good guitar work :D
