Irony died when Kissinger got the Nobel peace prize.
Like some kind of immortal mutant, Kissinger is STILL alive (turned 98 in May.) I was just reading his bio, refugee from the Nazis, over-achieving military record in World War II, outstanding scholar at Harvard. If you had met this guy in, say, 1950, when he was 27, you might be tempted to say, “Wow, this is going to be one of the outstanding people of the twentieth century.”
