Yeah, I wear hijab. That could be it, but it’s not that common to get snark here because of that as there are lots of Muslims around.

You never know though. It happens occasionally, especially since I look foreign because of my olive skin & features. That seems to embolden some people (I figure they probably think I don’t speak English well and won’t snark back)
