I would feel like you if I believed there was any chance she actually meant you should confront people. It’s a throwaway line and you’re reading way way to far into it. If someone asked her point blank if she thought people should stop others in their cars and ask them that, I’m sure she’d back-pedal, but the point was to make a joke, and it came off wrong. It’s obvious it’s a joke, and to read into it more than that is wasting time.

It’s not a waste of time if you need to manufacture an outrage of the day :)
