I’m pissed enough it’s gone this far.. This should have been settled long ago.

The whole crisis should never have even happened. S&P now seems likely to downgrade just to keep their credibility after they got involved in the political back-and-forth, and the other two ratings agencies will then be forced to follow suit. It’s a totally unnecessary, manufactured mess that was always the downside to the GOP’s power-play / gamble.
