I agree, but my main point is that they’re whining about tyranny & states’ rights, which they didn’t give a damn about when it suited their agenda. Now it’s come back to bite them in the ass.

That bit of hypocrisy has been enthusiastically and continuously practiced by US conservatives since the founding right down to the present day.

When they get their way at the Federal level, to hell with states’ rights. When they run into trouble at the Federal level, then the state’s rights blather comes back, much like a malfunctioning sewer system.
