Since one side is prepared to shoot the hostage, and the other side is not, I think we can guess how this will turn out.

There are enough Republicans in the House who will caucus with the Democrats on the Reid plan (which isn’t that different from the Boehner plan) in order to pass it…we only need about two or three dozen of them. The big question is, will Boehner let the House vote on the Senate bill, or will he play “fuck you” with the economy?
