My brother and I were talking about this disconnect we see with many who proclaim to be devout Christians but show no compassion or kindness to anyone in a situation less well off than them.

The end result of 40 years of the Religious Right infecting churches and synagogues. I left my old synagogue when they came out for Arnold in the California recall and they passed out voter guides from the Christian Coalition because they were “pro-Israel”…
