I bought the house at the top of the hill because this area of Kansas used to be an inland sea.

Where is the property in relation (is the house on a hill?) to the flood plain, was a major factor in deciding location of both of the houses we’ve purchased in Nashville.

During the search for the 2nd home, the realtor (family friend) pointed to a spot of a wall ~ 4 ft from the floor & said that was the Harpeth River level in 2010.
