I have no problem at all with countries wanting to keep certain information confidential not just for national security concerns because the release of said information can and will get people killed- a reason why I’ve never been a Snowden admirer too.

Snowden is often compared to Daniel Ellsberg and the Pentagon Papers, but Ellsberg was a conscientious journalist who took care only to expose illegal activities and not just indiscriminately dump information or deliver it into the hands of foreign governments.
