DOJ’s New Filing Responds to Trump With a Photo of Some of the Classified Documents He Stole

Politics • Views: 18,182

Here’s the Department of Justice’s response to Trump and his legal team, and it’s absolutely devastating — including a photo of some of the classified documents Trump stole, in which you can clearly see the top secret markings. Zoom in on the document right in front, and you can see the marking “HCS” that denotes human source intelligence.

CL’d:

My favorite thing about the FBI photo is that it will always be referred to like this:

“I would like to refer the jury to the damning photo evidence designated as Exhibit 2A.”

Irony, yes?

It’ll drive the gunhumpers nuts.

When will some of these people begin to grasp the concept that the civil & legal status of marriage is no longer fully equivalent to the religious Sacrament of Holy Matrimony?

You do not have to accept two people as being married in the eyes of God, but you are compelled to accept their status of being married in the eyes of the law.

Oh about never, I’ve been in long knock down dragged out arguments with wingnuts in comments here way back in the past over the fact that although there are many ceremonies & many religions, all marriages are confirmed by the state, and that includes common law marriages. (remember common law was created so pagans could co exist with Christians in early England.)

The FBI were doing their job, namely documenting the materials seized under the warrant. And now they are being criticized because it was done in a way that was unflattering to 45py.

Of course, there was a time when there was no Justice of the Peace to perform a ceremony, only a priest. This again is them trying to impose their religious beliefs on a secular institution.

I mentioned awhile back the immigrant mentality is different.

I have no birthright in this country. I had to pay and jump through multiple hoops just to get what some people have from their very first day on this earth. It was EARNED. Not given to me.

And so as a result of that, I feel obligated to work hard and contribute to society to justify my presence here and to validate all the work I put in to make it happen.

Many of the hardest working people I know are immigrants or first generation children of immigrants.

I’m reading the article now, boss. It’s not clear that the DOJ will even be ready to charge him by November, even if they felt they could. And the article says it’s entirely possible that they could obtain indictments under seal and keep them sealed until after the election, although indicting Trump would undoubtedly set off such a shitstorm from the tangerine wankmaggot that it wouldn’t stay sealed for very long.

I’m not quite as confident this is relevant. The statutes related to the search warrant do not hinge on the classified-ness of the documents. I think simply presenting the documents as “official government documents that are U.S. Government property” should suffice. But, I am not an expert.

my guess is that if he is convicted, he’ll be imprisoned right through his appeals. he would be an enormous national security threat. the things that he has been exposed to and likely could regurgitate if necessary would be really useful to anyone willing to offer him safe harbor for the divulging.

Well, I guess in light of Charles’ post, it’s #3.

If you are doing a Red Sox game you are close to the artery of Boston.
I assume you will have a car.
My son went to Northeastern University at 17 and it was too much.
NE was the poor sister to those who could not make BU or BC it was said.
Go to the top of the Prudential Center and you can see the layout of Boston very clearly.
You have to drive through neighborhoods.
See them.
The heartbeat of Boston.
Southie and the docks.
Roxbury.
Chinatown.
All just to the east of Fenwick Park.
I can’t find the restaurants I ate at when I visited.
The Cheers dive off of the Boston Commons is shit.
The Commons is nice.
North of the Charles is more $$$
Faneuil Hall Marketplace
It’s been years and I’m sure much has changed, but remember some of the best food is local neighborhood spots.
And go with seafood.
Lobster and clams and mussels and oysters.
And just for shits and giggles take a trip on the beloved T.
But not at rush hour.

The latest evidence indicates that Gavin McInnes, the media pain-in-the-ass whose limited ideas led to the popularization of Brooklyn hipsterism in the early aughts (though some would argue it was invented there long before McInnes, a British-born Canadian, ever got anywhere near New York City, and that he merely jumped everyone else’s train), faked his disappearance from his Get Off My Lawn podcast last week.

On Thursday, following the kind of elaborate setup one usually sees on a children’s television show—Hey kids, should I answer the door?—the Proud Boys founder, who is accused by his detractors of being a right-wing, racist extremist, was seemingly interrupted in the middle of his censored.tv network podcast after some unwelcome visitors popped into his Bronx studio during a live broadcast and McInnes has not been seen or heard from since.

Some say he was taken away by members of law enforcement, most likely federal, and that he’s been in custody ever since.

But that now seems to have been a bit.

Friend of McInnes (or former friend by now), comedian Owen Benjamin on Tuesday blasted the longtime stunt-boy for what he says is just a setup from the thirsty McInnes.

A bit of local news, but went national at the time. I personally disagreed with NTSB’s finding and found them to be incompetent.

In a stunning development in court Wednesday, a judge tossed out a plea deal struck between Schoharie County prosecutors and Nauman Hussain, the operator of the limousine company that owned the vehicle that took the lives of 20 people almost four years ago.

Hussain, the son of Prestige Limousine’s owner Shahed Hussain, had been expected to be sentenced to four years of probation and no jail time. But state Supreme Court Justice Peter Lynch suggested a prison sentence of between 16 months and four years was appropriate, prompting the defense team to nullify their client’s plea.

In his remarks in the courtroom, Lynch focused on one detail of the case: Hussain’s decision to remove a state decal that said the limo was removed from service. The judge said that suggested the operator’s intent to break the law — an element left out of the plea deal as struck.

They will return to court in September.

On the Philly Delaware waterfront the cruiser USS Olympia was docked who knows how long ago.
When I was a young boy, that was Delaware Ave and it was railcar tracks in the street, abandoned piers and not very nice.
Shackamaxon. Trying to find photos is hard.
But we drove our bikes all over that area.
Industrial carnage.
I-95 tore everything up and actually allowed the hood to grow.
The old one was gone as gone could be.
Like a Tom Waits song.
Calvert whiskey or Seagram’s had a distillery and Jack Frost had a huge sugar refinery.
Sugar House Casino, anyone?
That’s where the name came from. Now Rivers or some other…
Burn barrels in the winter for the freight car lumpers and winos.
Rats larger that cats.
Delaware was so filthy you could catch hepatitis just falling in.
One friend did.
Submarine Becuna was not there as I was a boy
Might have cost a quarter to get in.
It was dirty and cramped and not very well kept.
Viewing these photos they have rescued this gem who saw service from 1895 to 1922.
USS Olympia

lol! in goju ryu, when you take the brown belt test, you demonstrate this technique where you harden your body and basically pull your balls up. then to test if you have full control, the teacher will helpfully kick you in the nuts, and they try it from front AND back just to make sure you aren’t cheating and getting your balls up in a non-goju ryu manner, like paying some hooker to be in your pants for awhile, keeping everything pulled up through application of a blowjob or something, which I’m only guessing about because I have no idea how you would cheat on a balls-up technique.

A man fatally shot by police in Ohio’s capital city appeared to be holding a vape pen in his hand, the city police chief said as an investigation was underway into the shooting.

Donovan Lewis, 20, died at a hospital following the shooting early Tuesday morning. Columbus police say officers were at the scene to arrest Lewis on multiple warrants including domestic violence, assault and felony improper handling of a firearm.

Police body-cam footage shows an officer opening a bedroom door in an apartment and immediately shooting Lewis, who was in bed.
Lewis appeared to be holding the vape pen before he was shot, said Columbus police chief Elaine Bryant. No weapon was found.

When this goes to trial we must assume any and all classified information has already been compromised from either Trump himself or from his underlings/bag men like Bannon, Giuliani, Kushner, Ivanka or any and all legal council he has had.

With this in mind, when the time comes in a trial that Trump and his goon lawyers call for all evidence to be revealed to the jury that the bluff be called and actually do it. Our secrets are already blown. Putin already has the info. We have already sustained tremendous damage to our national security thanks directly to Trump and a deranged, utterly corrupt Republican Party. It is vital that sending Trump to prison is the direct and #1 reason for a trial in the first place. Our country has no hope of surviving without it.

Some security folks on MSNBC pointed out that we already need to assume the information is compromised. This means pulling back assets like informants who may be at risk, and informing countries we work with who will want to do the same. So there’s damage to national security whether or not the information got out.

Someone suggested the top of the Pru. That’s under renovation until next year.
The T may or may not be running when you come; the Orange Line and the northern end of the Green Line are under renovation. (A big parking garage has to come down. It’s over the tunnels for both lines.)

I never had money, so I just walked everywhere. Boston is a marvelous walking city, as is my own town of Salem. Normally, my town is very accessible from Boston, but the commuter rail has been shut down off and on, and will continue that way through September. The ferry to Salem still runs, though, from Long Wharf, and puts you on the waterfront in Salem, a few blocks from downtown.

It’s an old casino trick to make the carpets gaudy as hell and the ceilings as boring as possible. The idea is that this will keep your eyes from looking too high or low and instead stay focused on all the colorful shiny things on the gaming floor and thus you will be more likely to spend money.

That’s also why casino floors have no clocks on them. Though now that most of us have smartphones in our pockets and can easily check the time, that’s not as big a deal as it used to be.

My dream is that a major load of MAGA choads will flee to Russia just before Putin falls. They would then be stuck in a foreign country where the new rulers would have every reason to hate their guts.

For a real life example of a rat jumping aboard a sinking ship, consider the case of Martin James Monti, a USAAF pilot who defected to the Nazis just 8 months before the German surrender.
He was convicted of treason and served 12 years. He lived quietly until his death in 2000.

The court was lenient (he could have been executed) because he pled guilty and his lawyer made much of his youth and his upbinging by fanatical right wing isolationists. His father, Martin Monti jr. was a rich investment banker and an immigrant from the Italian speaking region of Switzerland.

In the 1930s, Monti (the father) was a staunch anti-communist and an enthusiastic admirer of Charles Coughlin, a Roman Catholic priest who made weekly radio broadcasts. Coughlin was known for his sentiments towards anti-communism, anti-semitism, and admiration of the fascist governments of Germany and Italy; his broadcasts attracted millions of listeners before eventually being stopped in 1939 on the outbreak of World War II.

A lot of people watched six people die in a viral video. I don’t know how the out of control driver survived.

The ICU nurse who killed six people in a horrific fiery crash in LA earlier this month when she blew through a red light at 90mph suffered a ‘frightening’ mental collapse in the days leading up to the incident, it has been revealed.

The revelation concerning the murder charges currently leveled at Nicole Linton, 37, came in the form of a filing from the LA nurse’s defense attorneys, who insist their client suffered an ‘apparent lapse of consciousness’ at the time of the crash.

Obtained by The LA Times, the filing offers a detailed narrative of the suspect’s diminishing mental state in the buildup to the incident, which claimed the lives of a pregnant mother, her unborn child and one-year-old son, and four others.

Linton, who is from Texas, is currently in custody on the six murder charges, which pertain to the five people as well as the unborn child.

She is being held without bail, due to prosecutors belief that she is a flight risk and a danger to the community.

The filing argues that Linton has ‘no recollection of the events that led to her collision’ - and paints a picture of a mentally ill woman who has rapidly lost her sanity over the past four years.

Nurse in LA horror crash claims she had a ‘mental collapse’ at the wheel of her speeding Mercedes and Facetimed her sister completely naked just hours before killing six in 90mph smash (Daily Mail)

That’s it exactly.

“Honeycomb design” it’s called. It also make counter flooding simpler. Smaller sections that are flooding get sealed off. Smaller areas on the other side are sealed and flooded.

Also, to be cold about it, fewer crew get lost because fewer get caught in flooded or burning sections.

Maybe investing with a YouTuber isn’t a great idea.

Natthamon Khongchak, known as Nutty’s Diary on YouTube with a channel boasting over 800,000 subscribers, allegedly fled abroad to Malaysia. Claiming to be a successful forex trader, Natthamon used her platform to lure victims into investing money with the promise of high returns in short periods of time.

The YouTuber would invite investors to deposit money into her account with the promise of 25 percent returns for three-month contracts and 30 percent returns for six-month contracts. For 12-month contracts, Nathhamon would promise a 35 percent return and pledged to pay every month.

This is a special election to fill out the term until next January.

The primary election for the next full term starting in January puts up the same three candidates as for this special election.

She’ll claim “voter fraud,” bank on it. Yet another special election the GOP should’ve won easily that they have either lost or been a lot closer than it should’ve been. I’m growing increasingly bullish on the Democrats’ chances in November.

If Palin was a team player, she would withdraw from the November election, because Begich would probably beat Peltola in a one-on-one. Fortunately, Palin is all about Palin.

I forgot to add that the November election does have 4 candidates (at this time). The 4th candidate received less than 2,000 votes in the primary. He spent almost no money and only put up about a dozen campaign signs.

Looks like Palin would lose it; enough Begich voters chose Peltola as their second choice for her to trounce Palin by three points.
