While I doubt a conspiracy, what I don’t doubt for a second is that Boeing is sitting on documentation that shows they either knew these plugs were unsafe or that their inspectors were signing off on shoddy work just to make quotas. Either one would be a MASSIVE lawsuit in itself as well as the FAA up their asses while the entire fleet was inspected bolt-by-bolt at Boeing’s expense.

Boeing says it cannot find the physical records of who installed the door and signed of on it. And all the security tapes have been overwritten.. So apparently there is no documentation of any kind.
