Fully agree.

It’s funny to me that people are complaining about this photo - that is, by objective standards, really what she looks like.

They’re complaining that the photo isn’t glammed up and stylized, because it screws up their impression of Bachmann the Ideal.

They don’t want a real person. They want a mockup of a real person. That’s fucking batty.

Kind of sort of. The long-standing practice is to run a stylized shot. I’m honestly not sure if Michele’s crazy eyes can fit that category or not.

I would have gone with a different photo.
