okay, so I went to see Tommy (the Broadway musical) tonight. My report:

Cast, band, sets, choreography all excellent. Of special note — the kids playing 4-year-old Tommy and 10-year-old Tommy, the woman playing The Acid Queen (Christina Sajous), and the production number for Pinball Wizard (this is the excerpt I expect to see performed at the next Tonys).

WARNING: if you’re photosensitive or epileptic or if you react badly to strobe lights… THIS SHOW IS NOT FOR YOU. Sorry, but it’s just not.
