They are fine with IVF treatments, so long as they are done in a more expensive and less effective manner to ensure that no embryo is left behind. The “one embryo at a time” method ensures more failed attempts at pregnancies at higher cost, in an already expensive process.

There are deeply unserious people (aka WHACKJOBS) who believe that ALL the embryos created have to be implanted. Even embryos that are genetically defective or pretty much guaranteed not to succeed. The woman has to experience miscarriage and the she can try again. Of course, if the embryo is genetically defective but manages to implant and grow, she has to carry it to term and watch it die (as the vast, vast majority do).

This is what happens when you believe a fertilized ova has more right to life than anyone else out there.
