I don’t know about Mikey, but this happened about three blocks from where I live.

The student is now being crucified in the liberal press.

Sounds to me like he did everything right - issued a warning, then defended himself against attack.

Not sure what the laws are there, but around here that’s more than good enough to justify use of deadly force. In some areas (Florida?) the bar is set even lower - the presence of an intruder in your home comes with an automatic assumption of imminent harm.

Even in areas extremely tolerant of such actions, the kid needs a lawyer and will probably wind up at least $50k or so in the hole after defending himself.
