Just never needed one until I wanted to go out of the country. I think it’s that way for a lot of people. I think it cost about $130 or so for my passport. Add in the cost for passport for the now ex and the children, it’s a lot of money to come up with.

Yet, it’s also pretty easy to get if you have your birth certificate and a post office nearby.

The doomsayers encourage people to have a passport in case they ever have to escape the USA.
