Germany doesn’t care. Angela Merkel would lose votes if those subs weren’t purchased. The people building them don’t care what happens to Greece, not compared to making sure them keep their jobs.

Is that short-sighted? Yes. But when it comes to his livelihood, a man tends to be short-sighted. Not easy to worry about the long term when getting laid off means you’re worried about how you are going to provide for your kids.
