I think the “bloodbath” context is that of the auto industry but the context of January 6th where he told his followers to march on the Capitol: “We’re going to walk down there and I’ll be with you” is clear.

The normalization of violent rhetoric has been Trump’s MO for a long time and has been increasing. Normalizing his frequent usage of words or phrases containing “blood”, “killing”, “vermin” is preparing his cult to act on their worst impulses and dehumanize others so his dictatorship can take hold. What’s more is that he also consistently praises his own ability to evade law, taxes and regulation giving his followers an understanding they too should follow his example.
