I dare anyone to go out and try to find someone who can make you a pair of shoes.

Years ago I tried, around here in SD. From my research I found 1 guy in Tijuana who supposedly could (but I didn’t go with him). None in SD county. Supposedly there was a guy up in Hollywood who made shoes for the famous.

Now wait one damn minute! I thought little elves were responsible for making shoes. Or was it child labor? I forget.
