I wonder if there are actually people who see half of the members of the panel are women and think, “Well, all righty then! It’s gonna be all fair and square!”

It’s hard for me to imagine someone that naïve still existing in 2015, but why else would Republicans pull this totally transparent shit?

Seriously? I’m surrounded by these people. Just about everyone I know thinks like this. Many have varying degrees of post high school education, and are fairly intelligent.

Yet, when you point out the fucking idiocy like this that the GOP does on a daily basis, they recoil in horror at the mere suggestion that one party is worse than the other. “Don’t be stupid. The Democrats do stuff like this all the time!”, they confidentially bleat.

They are the reason why people like George W. Bush; Chris Christie; Ted Cruz; and Michelle Bachmann get elected. They’re the reason a President Trump is an actual, real danger.

Because they cannot or will not accept the fact that one of our major political parties has utterly fallen to pieces, fucking up the country in the process.

They are our precious independent voters. Too lazy to research the facts, too delusional to think that an out-there GOP politician will not stop with the right wing radicalism once they get elected.

Pick a fucking side. Preferably not the racist, fanatical one.
