Balanced the budget in his second term though, without a Republican revolution to help him along. Come on, fiscally and in wider economic terms he got it right. He understood that small business is the back bone of this country.
And he was center/right, not a bad place to be. The constant public opinion polling (vanity) and the longing for “greatness” did him in.
The Camp David stuff with Arafat and Barak made me sick though.
