I’ve said all along it is only a matter of time before the Religious Right Radicals turn on each other Mormons, fundy Protestants and Catholics will go after each other and hopefully marginalize themselves in the process.

My youngest brother is both a Mormon and a Trumpster. I have asked him how he can align himself with people who think his religion is a perverted cult, and whose not-too-distant predecessors lynched its founder. His answers are tu quoque (“Liberals hate us too!) and some kind of gibberish about liberalism being a greater threat. I ran down a list of pogroms and religious wars between branches of Christianity, he says that’s all in the past. *sigh*
