Wouldn’t Trump rather lose money in a fire sale, then have NY padlock his buildings in NY?

Trump probably feels the former is more of a “loser move” than the latter since he can continue to try to pin the blame for the latter on him being unfairly persecuted by those jealous of his business acumen and political success.
