Jared has 2 billion lying around — or at least somewhere. Or is it deposited in a fund that has strict governmental oversight? The Saudis owe Trump a lot for all he did for them. Didn’t MBS want to give Jared a lot more money but the Saudi wealth fund advisors managed to reduce the amount by 80% or so. Certainly another half billion is nothing.

I don’t think it’s quite sunk in yet: If he had access to easy money, he’d have used it. He spent months claiming he had the money just sitting in a back account accruing interest, yet the moment the courts told him “put up or shut up,” he’s back in front of them begging poverty, that nobody will spot him a loan, and please don’t make him sell his properties to free up the cash to put in escrow. If he suddenly showed up with a check tomorrow, there is no way in hell the state of NY would just shrug and accept it without question.
