re: #160 WindUpBird

That’s why he’s a genius. He can guide the entire country’s attitudes with something a simple as an image and one line at the top of his html

Complaining about the genius is starting to become fruitless. He’s inctedibly smart, knows exactly what he’s doing. Knows how to craft a juicy link that goes to some Christian extremist site. But it’s nestled againstthe real news.

so you have on a druge headline:

SENSATIONAL PICTURE

then

realnews/real news/TOWNHALL ED/real news real news/DOMINIOST OP ED/real news real knews/QUACERY

and they all look the same on the links. it’s so clever

As I get my art going, and become a “personality” of sorts myself, Ive been thinking of politics in a different way, in a visual sense, not as sides, but as personalities getting their needs met and forcing others to meet their needs. Like spheres colliding against one another. Some spheres grow and recede, some stay small but are agile, but they bump into each other, make each other move in directions the don’t want

that’s how I viualize politics now

and there aren’t two goal posts, there’s millions, like a big pinball, everyone wants to get on that ramp, that ball trap

Good insights.

Politics has become a 3D chess game with none of the levels dealing with real and substantive issues.

Your art references are apropos. It is ironice that art has become the principal medium of reality.
