re: #174 mmmirele
I had a few things to say today to Christian types who were going off about the loan forgiveness.
Just to be clear, I have a problem with the theology expressed in the second tweet, because I don’t believe in Penal Substitutionary Atonement, but I used that theology anyway because it fit.
Acts 2 says Christians should pool all their money or property to pay each other’s debts. You might call that “communism” or perhaps “debt-relief.”
And as for Christians not forcing third parties, forget not paying attention in Sunday School, they didn’t pay attention to a thousand years of Christianity where they did precisely that and slaughtered anyone who didn’t agree with them. We call that the Dark Ages for a reason.
