Well, seriously, what can an ordinary person like me do about AGW? Do I have to deprive myself of overseas trips to see my grandkids? Should I move to Israel which has some of the most innovative green technologies in the world?

First of all I am so very jealous of you being there, and making alyiah, has other benefits than fighting AGW.

But what ordinary people need to do, desperately, is to learn the facts about the science. Learn the well and get conversant. Don’t just take my word for it. Look at the real science with facts and figures.

This is great place to start. It is written for the smart but not necessarily scientific person and it is kosher from UCSD.

Once people get educated about this, they can demand real policy about it.

Everyone can do little things like use less electricity, litter less and so forth, but the real solutions come from doing things like switching to other forms of energy and to electric vehicles. This will not happen without public demand and public pressure.

The way for that to happen is for ordinary people to learn the science and get real about it.
