When I was in Girl Scouts (in the early 1960’s) my troop went on an overnight camping trip (we “camped” in the great room of a summer cabin that one of the troop leaders owned in northern Michigan). For breakfast we went OUTSIDE (even though the cabin had a perfectly good kitchen) built a fire and cooked “Eggs in a Basket” for breakfast.

First and only time I ever enjoyed that delicacy.

In my summer camp we called it rocky mountain toast
