Let’s remember the issue with trump properties was not dueling independent appraisers.

Among many other lies…tfg lied:

about square footage. That’s objective, not open to interpretation

about allowable usage of MAL ignoring the covenant restrictions. Objective not open to interpretation

Was wildly, almost absurdly aggressive about future sales values

And then simultaneously, massively devalued everything for property tax purposes.

These were not mere differences of opinion or approach. They were reckless and deliberate frauds with the intention of doing exactly what they did:

Reduce property taxes
Gain more favorable loan terms (if not loans at all)

We might not have huge budget deficits if everyone in the real estate industry were forced to pay their fair share of taxes; but they are all Trumps, except most know better than to run for President and expose their criminality to public view. My guess is that almost all Leona Helmsley their taxes.
