Yeah, Joe should have read or his lawyer advised him of the fine print on that pardon that accepting it was effectively an admission of guilt. And a pardon only covers criminal charges, it does not immunize him from civil suits.

Are we sure about that? I know that is part of the typical pardon process. But I’m also not entirely sure it’s required, and knowing Trump, I could see him not requiring an admission of guilt on this one, especially since he keeps going with the whole “he was just doing his job” bullshit.
