The argument would be that the entire increase is due to deficit spending which is a trillion dollars more than it was in 2018. Which leads to the question why is the deficit so huge when the economy is ostensibly doing so well. We either need to be raising taxes or reducing spending. If deficits are 1.7 trillion dollars when times are good WTF are we going to do when times go bad again
