I really can’t help but think that Trump has fallen prey to his “power of positive thinking” BS. You know, if he just thinks it’ll happen - it will happen. He wills it to happen.

BTW, don’t get me wrong, I’m a generally optimistic person myself. However, I know the difference between optimism and magical thinking. Trump doesn’t seem to.

Remember he surrounded himself by prosperity gospel preachers in the White House wen he was resident…Paula White…those kinds of grifters.
