The big box is a plug-in-the-wall pacemaker from around the 1950’s that can be found at the Earl Bakken Museum in Mpls. The package in front contains a Medtronic Micra pacemaker - a leadless pacemaker implanted in the heart without any leads to a pectorally-implanted pacemaker.
technology is grand.
