It’s a sacret symbol in Hinduism, equal to the cross and the star of David. (Which is in a way a bit ironic if you ask me.)

Same symbol different origins/meanings.

I don’t think the Nazi’s were aware of the hindu symbol when they created theirs, as the Nazi symbol is four axes pointed in the same direct, signifying national socialism. The iron cross is in the same vein.

I always assumed they viewed it as an Aryan symbol. Incorrectly?
