I’m generally not a fan a most preparations I’ve seen, but Thai Tom in Seattle’s U District made magical fried tofu, especially tasty in swimming rama. Damn that stuff was good, just thinking about it has me homesick for the NW.

This is why I smile when people say they hate tofu when generally what they really mean that they hate bland food. I’m not sure they realize that it doesn’t have to be eaten plain. It’s an ingredient protein, spice it up, put it in peanut sauce, toss it in the fryer, use your imagination, it’s all fair.
