Bear in mind, the Russian government downplayed the Kursk disaster at first; hell, the day after her loss, the Northern Fleet Commander said the whole exercise had been a “resounding success” and spoke highly of the entire operation - and this was after he knew the Kursk had gone down.

But other than that one Ukraine source, there have been no other comments on this “event”. I got burned posting something on FB months ago that originated from a Ukraine tweet — turned out to be totally untrue.
