It does work with the M1 iMac. I have one with a touch ID keyboard. I got the extended version with numeric keypad.

I’m strongly tempted to replace my old iMac with one of those new-fangled M3 iMac.

I also prefer extended keyboards. Don’t know if I will spring for Touch ID. I’m afraid I’ll forgot my computer password if I don’t use it.
