Normal flu Mortality rates sit under .1% and typically are found only in hte Very young, the elderly, or the Immune deficient areas of the population. So far in Mexico Approximately 1/2 of the deaths have occured in the healthy young adult population. Tho this current bug isn’t nearly as fatal as the 2006 avian flu withs its ~60% mortality rate Obama is pouring gas on a fire by stating we have no need to monitor our border with the country where this virus is fast approaching epidemic proportions.
